Mission Statement

 

As a faith-based organization, the Decorah Community Food Pantry shares food with local Iowans facing food insecurity. We strive to interact with clients in a welcoming and respectful manner and to reduce food waste.

The membership of the Decorah Community Food Pantry shall be comprised of churches or faith communities which contribute either monetary or in-kind support. Membership is open to any faith community in Winneshiek County; in exceptional cases, faith communities in adjoining counties may request consideration for membership.  Membership must be approved by the Board of Directors.
