Coupons available June-OCTOber

Coupons are distributed to registered clients during scheduled appointments. Clients qualify for monthly coupons based on the number of members living in the household. We are grateful for the donations that we receive to make this wonderful program possible.  It allows our  food insecure neighbors to enjoy healthy and delicious local foods and produce, while also supporting our local food producers.

Iowa Food Hub

The pantry partners with the Iowa Food Hub to bring locally grown produce to our clients. Through grants for Local Food Programs our pantry is able to provide healthy, fresh, local foods as available through the year.

Local Businesses Provide Food Rescue

The pantry is grateful to these local businesses for partnering with us  by allowing our amazing volunteers to collect rescue items Monday through Friday mornings. They then unpack and prepare these items for our shelves, coolers, and freezers at the pantry. While the expiration dates on these items require them to be taken off shelves in the retail market, the food is still perfectly good for consumption for several days or freezing for later use. This great partnership provides a great variety of fresh produce, dairy, and bakery items in the pantry daily. Importantly, it also saves thousands of pounds of good food ending up in the landfill!
